Squirrels - Oct 2

The squirrels continue to enjoy the amazing fall weather! We started the day reading the book "Going on a Bear Hunt" and then decided to have our own bear hunt as we made our way up to our regular spot on the bluff. We explored the tall grass and picked up walking sticks along the way. When we got to our spot, we played "what time is it Mr. Bear?" and then had our snack and story time. Following this we had a time for free play. During free time, we had a mud kitchen, a hammock to swing on, a house being built for some stuffed animals, some grass cutting, and some ropes to play with. We ended the day with played "five green and speckled frogs," which has become a class favourite.
