Squirrels, Nov 19

The fresh snow was perfect for making snowballs with; getting them up the hill was the hard part! Teamwork helped! We are continuing our map work with noticing position in space; the wood people represented us, and where we were sitting in the circle. One person would leave, and we would hide a small object, then place a mark on the map to show them exactly where it was hidden (behind the log, behind Gabe, for example). The map reader returned, checked the map and proceeded directly to the hidden object. Well done! Of course, sliding and molding snow became the free explore activity, with a lot of teamwork and resilience being learned as we went!
