Continuing in our explorations of colour this time we had a beautiful white canvas. We made volcanoes with baking soda and vinager. We painted with squirt bottles. We chisled out a fairy hotel from a large snowball and added colour to finish it off. We mixed different colours and changed our potions from yellow to orange to red and eventually to brown.

We continued to work on being inclusive with our friends. It can sometimes be hard to invite someones interests or ideas when we are immersed in a game. We are also learning to advocate for ourselves when we want to be involved in something and suggest ways we can be part of the game.

After quite some time playing with colours we warmed up with a game of blob tag, chase Justice and race around the bike track.

Ending the day we read the story the Cranky Bear and How to Make a Snowman before walking back to the pick up spot.

This was one of our coldest days yet this year. We are learning how to keep ourselves warm while outside and how to keep our mitts on even though they are bulky. We worked together to keep each other warm. We had a few hand warmers in rotation. Arya was particularly generous in sharing her had warmers and checking in on others.
