The rabbits enjoyed a fun class together on Tuesday! We started the day playing animal card tag in the bike track, this space provides lots of good opportunities for hiding and running.

We then spent some time harvesting Chokecherries. We also listened to a story about the Chokecherries from a Blackfoot elder and learned a bit more about the uses of this cherry.

Following this we had some free time. Some of the students decided to "re-renovate" the fort that they have been making and other played with the mud kitchen. We also had some soap carving as an option and most of the rabbits decided to give this a try.

In the afternoon we worked on some more sewing, we learned the blanket stitch and practiced on a bit of felt. We ended the day with some games and then some independent journalling activities.

Reminder: Next Tuesday (Sept 30) there is no class due to the TRC holiday.
