The rabbits spent the day exploring Prince's Island park. It was a beautiful fall day and we really enjoyed spending time by the river and playing in the park. On our walk over to Prince's Island, we stopped to play "the floor is lava" on the exercise equipment. Once we made it on to the Island, we decided to find a spot by the water to read a story and have our snack. We then painted rocks and left them in the sun to dry.
We played a couple of different games in the field before we had lunch. Following lunch, we enjoyed feeding squirrels and birds with some sunflower seeds. We also spent some time carving ginger, it was great to see the students come up with imaginative ideas about what they could carve out of their piece of ginger. Before walking back to the bluff, we played the "squirrel and nut" game in which one partner is the blindfolded squirrel and their partner has to lead them to the nuts.
