Another snowy day for the Rabbits! Throughout the day, the temperature went up and down, but all students were able to stay warm and mostly dry :)
We started the day with a craft in which the students used markers to make a design on a coffee filter and put it on the wet ground to see the marker spread. The results were really cool!
Next we played some favourite games; What Time is it Mr. Wolf, Revenge Tag, and Coyotes vs Mouse. We spotted a falcon and went over to watch it. During snack we read a story about the snow and the students had a chance to write or draw in their journals. Following this, we harvested some rose hips and made tea.
After free time, we worked on another craft and tried to make some tea-light holders using small glass jars, modge podge, and leaves for decoration. This was a bit of challenge because the wind was blowing making it difficult to get the leaves to stick and the candles to stay lit. A good learning experience for us all!
