Rabbits - May 20

The rabbits enjoyed some lovely weather on the bluff this morning! Today, we had several activities that we came back to throughout the day. We started and ended the day with playing "Among Us," which was a game created by the rabbits. Everyone seemed to really enjoy playing this game.

Near the beginning of our morning, we collected some more dandelion petals to add to what we had collected last week. Our project today was to make some dandelion syrup out the petals, sugar, and water. Using a backpacking stove, we boiled the petals in water until the water was a nice yellow colour. We then strained the mixture through a cheese cloth and then boiled the mixture again with lots of sugar. Once it cooled, we poured it in containers and each student took some home.

We also continued working on our felting project. Next week we hope to add some embroidery to the projects! They are all looking really great so far.
