Today's class flew by! We had so much fun playing, making crafts, and enjoying the sunshine.
We started the day in the bike park, where we got to enjoy the snow that fell yesterday. We played a couple of games of tag to get ourselves moving.
We then had some free time. We had a variety of activities available such as the hammock, ropes, kitchen stuff, and paints. It was great to see the students engage creatively and use their imaginations.
Following free time, we decided to move to a new spot for our snack and story time. We found a nice sunny spot on the bluff and continued reading the book "A Wolf Called Wander." Following snack, we spent some time journalling and drawing and then moved on to a small craft. We used yarn to decorate cardboard hearts, which looked really cool.
Building off a swing building activity that we had done with the Red Foxes class a few weeks ago, we split the class into two groups and worked on creating swings using ropes and the trees and sticks that were available. We then had the opportunity to try each other swings.
