We were happy to see each other this morning, after our holiday break. It was nice to share in the enthusiasm to be back and enjoy each others company in our beautiful wintery environment.

The powdery snow invited us to try sledding and sliding down the hill - which is always fun!

We played a bunch of different games to help us get moving and stay warm.

We also played at the bike park, which is a great spot to try some more of our games and try some new slides.

A highlight of our class today was working on our fire building skills. Celine shared some effective techniques to create a fire, with some of the rabbits building their very first fire independently. One of the rabbits even used flint and steel to start her fire!

We concluded our class with a 'story of the day'. Sharing what stuck out in our minds as important, or our 'story' about the class. I enjoyed hearing from the class about what stood out to them and impacted them most. Their success at building fires was a highlight for many of them. Also social interactions with one another was also an important theme.
