Rabbits - December 10

Since we were a small group today we decided to join with the Red Foxes class and spent the morning all together at the bike track! It took a few tries to come up with a class name, but we eventually picked "scrappy cocoa" as the combined name for the classes today. We really enjoyed being with another class and learning from each other.

We started the day we a couple of games. We played revenge tag and then moved onto a game called Wolf and Deer. During free time some of the students played with the kitchen stuff, some played with the ice, and some made some crafts with yarn and sticks.

We have been working for a little while on mapping, so today we made a map of the bike park. After talking about topographic lines on a map, we split into two teams and hid stuffed animals for the other team to finding use the map. It was a bit of challenge to find all of the animals because of some really tricky hiding spots, but the students worked together and figured it out!
