Another fun day with Rabbits! Today we hung out at the bike track. When we arrived, the students immediately began running around and playing, so we decide to start the day with some free time. We then played a tag game all together that a few of the girls had come up with.
We also played "four corners" using cardinal directions, in order to keep practicing directions. While we were playing a new version of the game "ten pass" it started to rain, so we stopped the game and all worked together to set up a tarp.
We hung out under the tarp to have our snack and story time. Today we read a book called "Raft." Following this, the rabbits had the chance to draw in their journals.
Our craft today was continuing the felting project we began in the previous class. Everyone was engaged in this project and made some good progress on their piece.
We then moved into some more free time and it was great to see the students play and work together. We ended the day with a debrief using the story rocks that we created a few weeks ago and then also shared our "rose" and "thorn" from the day.
