The Owls had a wonderful first day of class. This group of Owls got along from the beginning and it seems they all match one another's enthusiasm for adventure and silliness!

We started out with a rope climb that lead us to discovering a rock climb. We did some safety checks and used the Red light, Green light assessment to see if we should go on it....we checked it as an Orange light with some added safety measures.

Along our walk through the bluff we discouvered a curious paper mache snail and treasures laid out on a bench for the taking. We had a discussion similar to the Honourable Harvest to deem how many treasures we should take and what we could give in return.

After exploring the bluff we headed to the Orchard to pick some apples and pears. There were just enough to have a taste of apples - Avyn found some big red ones - and plenty to have a mushy apple war!

After lunch we headed to the beach. We adapted our plan to fully swim to more of a wading in the river for free time.

On our way home we shared some of our hopes, goals and dreams for the year.
