Owls, November 21st

How many kids can you fit in a snow fort! Somehow we counted over 16 kids from our little class of 9. The Owls were extraordinary on Thursday with their perseverance in making the most incredible snow fort.

We had planned to work on the fort only in the morning, but the Owls were keen. It seemed that the morning was spent organizing, dealing with conflict and different ideas, settling into a place to work and in the afternoon they came together as a class. They connected as many of the 'burrows' they could to make one magnificient fort that everyone contributed to. If you have the time we highly suggest that you swing by the northeast corner of the curling club parking lot to take a tour. Ask your Owl about the fort, what they worked on and what features were their favourite.
