The Owls are ready for Victory's Trials next week! They went through two full dress rehearsals and some might say they are sick of practicing which according to Ms Lea means they are absolutely ready to perform. We are all looking forward to sharing the Owls' hard work with you on Thursday.
In between practice some of the Owls visited the Great Horned Owls again and noticed a tipi set up along Memorial Drive. They were curious and found out it was part of an event to remember and bring awareness to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). Earlier in the day we had talked about why there is a specific day to recognise these Indigenous women and each hung a small red dress in the trees to raise awareness.
