Owls, March 25
-carving with fire
-orienteering and map reading
-hiking skills (staying together, navigating different trail conditions, making decisions as a group, looking after the slowest hikers)
-Animal Game: finding resources in the forest, becoming the animal (empathy)
-patience with the ember carving (we placed an ember on wood, and fanned the coal to burn into our wood which we then carved out)
-sprinting; map reading in the orienteering course!
-precision; reading a map with enough detail to find flagging tape
