Owls, February 12th

The Owls are so proud of the tree house we have been working on! Typically we don't construct anything that is permanent, but the tree house has been in the bike track for years so we have been working with what is already there. They have added another level and a den for Alex.

After some compass work we headed over to a pd day camp that was happening on the bluff. At first the Owls were a little cautious and questioning their presence on the bluff, but as guards came down some friendships were made especially by Alex and Griffin. It was nice to see their imaginations spike with new ideas, some D&D and the making of a mini viking village. The Owls were proud to show off their sling shot and had fun playing a big game of rabbit in the hole. The day ended with a few final touches on the tree house and a brief rose and thorn.
