Nuthatches, Sept 20

The nuthatches have been noticing the critters they share the forest with and this class we learned about ants. We made an ant hill and an ant which helped us learn about the different body parts and where they live. Then they tested how strong thei

r ants were by carrying food back to our ant hill. We practiced finding our ant friends without using our eyes just like the ants do (they smell their way around). Then the nuthatches spent time learning about tools and letting their imaginations take over!
