Nuthatches, Nov 15

We started off making some more pine cone bird feeders as the chickadees are seeking out our little space now, it was thrilling to watch the chickadees as they are so dynamic. We found out if we whispered and stayed still it was the best way to have the chickadees approach us. We read more about birds and hope to study the chickadees next week as well. Then we did lots of free play and the nuthatches found a little grove of shrubs to hide and play in. Some practiced tree climbing while others hammered or used the swings. We also have a pulley system that was a big which next class we will learn more about!
