Nuthatches, Feb 14

The nuthatches have been interested in exploring new places and so today we went off our regular path. We took turns following different trails, some had footprints that we followed while other paths were simply to get to the next interesting thing. Eventually we ended up in this new spot and everyone voted yes to staying there all class. We played lots games, and the nuthatches loved the new sliding hill and tree to explore. Ask your nuthatch what was their favorite thing in to do in the new spot. Since tools have also been a favorite, today we carved a gnome, to practice the feel of carving. We will definitely be doing more carving next class. Happy valentines day!
