May update - Squirrels

The squirrels have experienced a variety of spring weather this month, including some wet days, but the kids were all troopers and didn't let some rain slow them down. The plants on the bluff exploded and we enjoyed foraging for creeping bell and alfalfa, and enjoyed many tasty salads. Next the dandelions popped out and we could explore some different dandelion activities, making tea with the petals, painting with the bright yellow, weaving crows and creating dandelion bouquets.
We have also been enjoying a lot of 'free time' play as the kids find their groove with one another and enjoy the freedom and exploration of the lush and green bluff.
There are always some games to enjoy (cops and robbers and Doggy Doggy where is my bone) were popular this month and our trusty tool circle activities are a constant source of challenge and fun.
