What a beautiful afternoon to be with friends in the forest. We played a game to practice stealth and observation. It was very exciting to try and catch people moving when they needed to freeze and to guess who was hiding the stuffy behind their back. Ask your child to explain the game "Where's my dinner?" and whether they enjoyed hiding the stuffy or trying to find out who was holding the stuffy.
The warm weather enabled us to bring tools and the avid carvers in Grey Squirrels created gnomes, people and a snake. The rest of the group were busy baking in the kitchen. There was a shortage of water so a few Squirrels ventured to the bike track to collect water from a puddle. We finished with an eyes only hunt for small animals hidden in the trees. Our observation skills are impressive!
