Continuing with learning about the laws of centrifugal force we let the Foxes try it out with the old water in a bucket trick.
The Foxes in the background were working on perfecting their hammers for the final hammer toss competition. The class divided themselves into athletes, coaches and reporters. Hammers, cameras and microphones were made.
Since the Foxes didn't get too much free time last week we gave them free time in the morning where they created a very risky game of trying to catch one another in ropes. There was a lot of negotiations and listening to each other to keep it safe. The teachers were ready on the side lines.
Bringing things in a little, we sat down to learn how to whittle a top. This was challenging and required precise cuts as well as patiency to bring out the handle from a chunk of wood. We got some working tops and are excited to see how they battle.
We ended the day with some warm, cinamon apple sauce made on the bluff. Ask your Fox if they liked the sauce!
