Foxes, Sept. 2nd

To quote Joe, "It doesn't feel like the first day of forest school. It's like we all have known each other for ever."

The teachers are excited for all the things we will do this year with this cohesive, daring and caring class of Foxes. Some of the things that the Foxes expressed they would like to do are:

• Make bow and arrows

• Go to the ice caves and Heart Creek Bunker

• Sled on a big hill

• Make popcorn, cinnamon buns, bubble tea

• Go camping

• Cross country skiing

• Field trips

The first day of class went swimmingly. We hiked; we explored the bluff; we played games that bamboozled us and made us run; we rolled down hills; we learned water safety and rescue and we played! Ask your Fox what was the highlight of the day.
