After a morning of spear making, target practice and golfing with spears the Mrs. Anne from Field Stories/Histoires de Terrain joined us for a workshop in story making. The Foxes played some trust games that lead them around the bluff blindfolded. We love to see how intimately the Foxes know the bluff even when blindfolded. Joe climbed and was able to identify the tree he was in while blindfolded!

Mrs. Anne created characters based on her observations from last week. The characters resonated with the Foxes as almost everyone one was based of each individual Fox. After assuming a character the Foxes spent some time creating costumes and getting into their roles. They were asked different questions so that they could develop their character. Afterwards they went through a door that transported them to the story world where they played out their characters. There was no plot or story line given. The Foxes took on their characters and a story began to emerge through their imaginative play.

We are excited to see what Mrs. Anne will bring for the class next week.
