We had a small Foxes class today and if things continue like they did today we might have to rename the Foxes as the Sleepy Foxes and plan for a sun soaked nap after lunch. The class was very relaxed today, perhaps it was the sun coming through the clouds or the Foxes got tired out with our warm up games or it was just a sweet day to take it a little slower today.

The Foxes started with an improve game that challenged our memories and ability to think fast. We then had an auction for some random objects that the Foxes bid on in teams. Once they had their loot they were challenged to make a game for the rest of the class to play. This was tons of fun!

Noticing that the alfalfa and creeping bell were at their most tender the Foxes foraged for a salad. We added in balsamic vinegar, oil, tajin and mango. It was really tasty and woke up everyone's taste buds for more local delicacies.

After free time and lunch the Foxes had a sit spot that turned into nap time. Ask your Fox if they were a napper or more into moving on.

Moving on we headed to Sammie's Park to make a fire and try our hands at making charms and melting metal. The Foxes had no problem starting the fire. We started with making molds and melting crayons to pour in. Who do you think made the most crayon gummie bears? We tried melting the pewter. It proved to be tricky. Once pewter gummie bear was made but we need more practice and perhaps a better system.

Next week we plan to go to Prince's Island so feel free to pack water shoes if you think your Fox would like to wade in the water a little.
