We are so pleased with the energy in this new group! They are curious and creative and love to engage with the world around them. We introduced a few new games, and we had fun trying to be our best in them!

Try playing the Number Game with your Coyote and the family! Ask about the Pirate Game, and what would make it better/different.

Ms. Dawn is learning about Metis arts and crafts, and ways of being in the world. She is teaching us how to 'tuft'; we started practicing with yarn, and will use deer hair when we're ready! Here are some examples (not ours....yet)

In the afternoon, we enjoyed getting all hot and sweaty (did we enjoy it? we enjoyed the game, anyway!) and then going to the river to make our boats. This time, we built a platform for our boats to sit on. We were able to use our lashing knots, and look in the bush around us to find what we needed. The lighting was hard because yes, Ms. Lea buys cheap matches (it was windy!), but we persevered!
