Coyotes, Oct 8

We are fully trying to take advantage of this beautiful weather! We began by exploring our hike/climb last week on the map. We measured how long we had hiked for, and what our elevation gain was. We will explore topographical lines more in the future!

We then tried out Phase 1 of a Forest School Hunger Games style wide game. We liked it, but talked a lot after about how to make it better. I'm going to be revisiting the movies so I remember how it works! See if your Coyote can explain their version of it, and what they think could make it better.

We are loving the tufting, especially tufting in the sun! The deer fur is much easier to work with than the yarn, and we're excited about making leather pouches next week. After finishing our trip log for the hike last week, we thoughts about the 'facts' of the experience, and the 'feelings'. See if your Coyote can share any!

They love playing games, and are ready for more next week. So are we!
