The beautiful weather allowed us to sit a little more today, whiel using our hands and our brains!

We are preparing for our trip; by reading the map and the topographic lines, we were able to depcit, visually, what our hike will look like km by km. It's uphill both ways - yay! We are also beginning a wet felting project that we will continue in our Sit Spots.

Next week, we have the privilege of partnering with the Cottontails - they are a great bunch, and are equally matched with our abilities! We look forward to planning activities for them after Spring Break!

In the coming weeks, we will discuss; our gear list, the food, our transportation to and from the trail head, and 'family rules' at the hut. We will also look at understanding the land we are travelling on, with a historical and 'looking forward' perspective.
