Important news! We will be shifting from a blog style of documenting our times together, to an Instagram style! We hope this will increase awareness about Upstream Forest School in the world, and increase our readership!
We will be posting pictures without including faces. If you're OK with us using faces, please let us know!
Find us at upstream_forest_school. Have a look at what is there already!
This week, we zipped up to Nose Hill for the morning, to engage in some tracking, trapping, and good old fashioned fun. My favoutire part of the day was when we started to break logs up by bending them between two trees. This became an engineering lesson on leverage, simple machines, mechanical efficiency and working together. Ask your Coyote what was their favourite! (Ok, my second favourite was the deadfall trap. And then, the Gold Rush game! The strategies were incredible!)
