These box elder beetles were the stars of the show today as we continued to fill out our bug adventure data journals. We also dug in the dirt until we discovered clay and centipedes, built a fort, and feasted on dandelion fritters. Ask your Cottontail what was involved in making the fritters, what they learned about how trees communicate during snack time reading, and what they observed about the box elder beetle.
