Last week the chickadees had come across a dead mouse along the pathway with lead to many questions and thoughts about what to do with them and how they died. This week we explored the ideas of prey/predator relationships and more about mice. After learning about mice the chickadees created their own little mouse that they could then build a home for. We then practiced being quite little mice hiding from predators and practicing sit spots. In the free time the tools were a popular item, especially the potato peeling. The movement of peeling is great to practice especially if they want to learn carving skills one day.
