Our Chickadees were very prepared for the wet day! The layers came off as they played games and completed obstacle courses with their very own log dog! Some were interested in learning knots to attach a leash to their dog, and all named and described their dogs. They took them over, under, and through the many parts of the forest. Ropes are fascinating, and they are enjoying pulling them, wrapping them and jumping over them! We molded snow using containers, and added another sense with tea leaves, which turned this activity into a kitchen, it seems! Much discussion of sharing materials ensured, and great social skills were practiced!
